At Animakee Windigo Island, this purpose-built facility serves as a place of care, gathering, and connection for the Animakee Wa Zhing #37 First Nation. Located on a remote island in Northwestern Ontario, the building was thoughtfully designed to support healthcare services while reflecting Indigenous culture, traditions, and a deep connection to the surrounding land.
